MRI brain and spinal cord are the best evidence. Nerve conduction studies are also useful. It begins with a thorough neurological examination.

It can take months to confirm the diagnosis and to close other causes. My neurologist has conducted tests to search MS and eliminate other possible causes. Some diagnostic tests are the following:
- Blood - due to vitamin B12 deficiency and markers of Lyme disease
- Identify MRI with intravenous gadolinium - and date lesions (plaques) in the brain. Recent injuries better.
- Evoked potentials - hearing, vision and motor impulses are tested to determine whether or not it move normally or too slowly.
- A lumbar puncture (spinal tap) - CSF is tested to cells, suggesting identify MS. It can also be used to differentiate Lyme disease.

For a definitive diagnosis of multiple sclerosis symptoms for at least two separate events or changes in MRI and a physical indicator (ie, the change must) of the central nervous system are optimized.

Good luck

Multiple Sclerosis: MS problems control over bladder function
Problems with the control of bladder function at least 80% of people with MS. Because MS interrupts or delays in the transmission of signals from the brain, electrical impulses to the muscles involved in bladder emptying can be interrupted.

These problems seem insurmountable, and often embarrassing. However, there are measures to regulate the problems of control over bladder function.

What are the most common types of problems of control of bladder function?
Urination. People with this problem, the need to urinate frequently and urgently. The little "tickle" pressure and the feeling that help us to time to head to the bathroom is very intense. When urination occurs, the signals that coordinate to interrupt urination, and experience this uncontrollable urge to urinate that can cause incontinence.
